The 690 - together with the 695 and the 705 - mark a change in the drive systems Lenco used. The very same motor has been used later in all belt driven record player Lenco has developed and produced until they closed down. In the size of a portable record player but intended only to be used at home as the motor only works with the normal ac outlet. The one here has a built in transistor amplifier manufactured by HEA Vienna and was manufactured for Donauland. It was only sold in Austria.
