The PCB and the transformer were manufactured in Lenco’s own factory in Steg*. The V 421 module was installed in the Lenco L 620. It uses the TBA 810AS Integrated Circuit despite the fact that it says TCA 940 in the circuit diagram. With the decision to use the TBA 810AS in the V 421, many of the amplifiers didn’t work properly - particularly after 1987 when in Europe the line voltage was increased to 230 V-AC. The TBA 810AS has an internal protection circuit that disables the power stage as soon as the operating voltage reaches the level of 20 V-DC.
