The J-55 was Lenco’s first portable 4-speed record player. This one here was sold by ExLibris and it has still the platter from it’s ancestor. It has an idler wheel with 60 mm ø - the same idler wheel was also used in the B 20-2 and B 30 models. There is also a speed control feature with an eddy current brake. The bakelite case was manufactured by Mafix in Obergerlafingen - Switzerland, a company that still exists.
