Lenco 668

In 1965 Lenco released the Lenco 668 amplifier. The electronics was designed and produced by HEA Vienna. It is based on their St 1/3b transistor amplifier. It used germanium transistors in the power stage and the small signal part was constructed with silicon transistors. It had a socket for a RIAA pre-amplifier VVSt101. Later in production it was re-named as STEREO 1600. The Lenco LAB 52 Stereo used the same amplifier modul.

Naho - the Dutch Lenco distributor - sold it as SV88. In Austria - under the DONAULAND label - it was sold as Studio 1000 stereo. HEA itself sold it as St 1/1.

There was also a FM-Stereo-Tuner St TU 1/1 as a separate unit available. The power for the tuner came from the 668 amplifier.
