Rotate the plastic support several times while you gently push the rubber wheel with two fingers from both sides.

After the rubber wheel sits proper on the plastic support, clean the surface of the new rubber wheel with a soft stuff (cloth) - or a cotton swab - that has been plunged into denatured alcohol.

Time to bring back the record player on the bench !

Careful inspect the surface of the pulley and - if necessary - clean it with a cotton swab.

Push the rubber wheel until it sits properly on the plastic support

Clean the pulley if necessary
