Preparation I

Before you open the record player you have to remove the platter. There is a special circlip that prevents the platter to be removed. Be careful when you remove this circlip as it is one especially manufactured for Lenco.

Now you can lift up the platter from the axle. Attention: There is a 3 mm steel ball inside the bearing of the platter! It might fall off for what ever reason.
